1. Introduction
Welcome to Lassie Pet Health Limited's (“Lassie”, “we” and “our” all refer to Lassie Pet Health Limited) services. These Terms of Use govern your use of both our website and mobile application (together, the "Platforms"). By accessing or using either Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use our Platforms.

Lassie is registered in England and Wales. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA reference number 1045889). We act as an Appointed Representative of Advent Solutions Management Ltd ("OneAdvent"), which holds the relevant FCA Part IV permission. The insurer for Lassie insurance policies is Newline Insurance Company Limited ("Newline"). You agree to use our Platforms only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you must not:

The Platforms are intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the Platforms, you confirm you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platforms if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

All content on the Platforms - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, trademarks, and educational materials - is owned by Lassie Pet Health Limited or its licensors and is protected by United Kingdom and international intellectual property laws.
You may access and use content on the Platforms for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
5. User Accounts
Certain features of our Platforms require you to register and create a user account. When creating an account, you agree to:

Keep your login credentials confidential and secure;
Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access to or use of your account;
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

8. Limitation of Liability

We exclude all implied warranties, conditions, and other terms that might otherwise apply to the Platforms;
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platforms;
Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to your claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Our Platforms may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Accessing any linked site is at your own risk.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will publish the updated Terms on the Platforms and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, via a notice on the Platforms or by email).
Your continued use of the Platforms after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platforms.
11. Complaints
We are committed to treating our customers fairly and in accordance with the FCA's Consumer Duty. If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in the first instance using the details in Section 13.
We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 4 weeks. In the event we cannot resolve your complaint within 4 weeks, we will let you know when you can expect an answer. If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, or if 8 weeks have elapsed, you may refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), which is a free and independent dispute resolution service:

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that:
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts;
If you are a consumer resident in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
